Fund-a-Need: Help us upgrade the footing in our arenas
Vaulters and horses depend on stable, safe arena footing.
With the help of The Horse Park, we’ve received initial estimates that it will cost $55K to upgrade the footing and install a drainage system in both arenas. If we only upgrade the footing and do not add a drainage system, the cost is estimated at $35K. Both quotes anticipate piggybacking on arena footing work The Horse Park intends to do at the end of the year. The benefit of a drainage system (we do not have one today) is that it would help keep the arenas recovery more quickly during the rainy season and reduce the frequency of footing replacement.
