About Us

A Bay Area Equestrian Vaulting Club Founded in 1990
Woodside Vaulters, founded in 1990, is one of the largest and most successful vaulting clubs in the United States. The club emphasizes horsemanship, safety, team-building, communication skills, fitness and a trusting, confident relationship between vaulter and horse. The club is truly a family organization: parent involvement in operations, facilities, and fundraising is essential to ensuring the success and safety of the vaulters.
Since 2008, the club has operated as a California nonprofit corporation, tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The club currently operates with a Board consisting of five directors who are elected by the members. Like all operational, facility and fundraising roles, the club’s directors are parents of current or past vaulters.
Our vaulters come from all over the Bay Area, and range in age from 6 to young adult. Our program currently includes Introductory to Advanced Level vaulters preparing to compete this spring and summer.
Our Staff
Our coaches are experienced in working with children, as well as coaching and competing at the highest levels. Our longeurs are lifelong horse people who match the strength of our coaches in depth of experience.
